Grateful patient

Before I visited Dr. Schwartz I saw several doctors with no results. After one visit to Dr. Schwartz my rash is gone. She spend more time with me than anyone else did and even gave me her home number in case I had a problem. I will recommend her to my family.

Never recommed Dr. Jan Schwartz

This doctor and staff have absolutely no bed-side manners what so ever. This is the most unprofessional doctor(if I'd even call her one) and staff I've ever been to. To make a long story short, I made an appt for 9:15am and I didn't see her until 11:15 and no one bothered to let me know she had 2 surgeries before my appt. So I literally sat in a room for nearly 2 hrs without anyone letting me know. Absolutely the worst business ethics I've ever seen. My goodness, I'd hate to be someone with an emergency and had her as my dermatologist. I can only imagine how long they would wait. To sum up my experience, I was absolutely floored that they treat their patients this way. I wouldn't even recommend her to my worst enemy. It was just awful. If you want an unprofessional, disrepectful doctor, go see her. That's exactly what you'll get. If she was a BBB member, I would definately report her. Just a terrible doctor. Be prepared to wait for enternity.

Fantasic doctor!

I've visited Dr. Schwartz several times after bouncing around at other doctors offices with wrong diagnosis. She quickly spotted my problem, diagnosed me, and provided quick treatment. She gives 100% with each doctor appoint, she listens carefully, she concentrates on every question.

Yes, plan on waiting

while in college i developed a strange and painful rash on my back. I went to go see a dermatologist in the city in which I was studying. He said it was acne and prescribed the usual stuff. After it became worse and more painful, I went to a different doctor hoping for a better diagnosis. Three doctors later I was still in pain and had 3 sets of the same meds. Finally made it back home for the summer and went to see Dr Schwartz again. Waited my normal 2-3 hrs and walked in to see her. She immediately identified the problem, wrote the prescription and gave me a sheet of paper w/ treatment/care instructions. To make a long story short, if you have acne and just need retin-a and benzoyl peroxide, you're probably better off going to the kelsey seybold dermatologist. If you have an issue that is hard to diagnose, go see Dr. Schwartz. Take a book, accept you will be waiting a long time. I have referred friends and family with difficult issues to her and have found her expertise to be unsurpassed repeatedly.

BEST DERMO FOR ECZEMA AND CHILDREN

Be prepared to wait!!! Dr. Jan takes her time with every patient. It is nice to see a doctor that is not caught up in the push them through the door like cattle mentality. I have been to many a doctor for my 5yr olds eczema and this is the only one who gets it right. Our whole family has seen her for the last 3-1/2 years. Dr. Jan knows her stuff. She is down to earth and really listens to the patient. I will take the wait time any day for a caring and very knowledgeable doctor.
