I LOVE THIS OFFICE. I HAVE BEEN GOING SINCE I WAS LIKE 19 YRS OLD. I ALWAYS TAKEN MY DOGS TO DR. HENDRIX OFFICE. THE RECEPTIONIST MAGGIE IS ALWAYS KIND AND FRIENDLY AS WELL AS THE REST OF THE CREW. I BEEN KNOWING THEM FOR A VERY LONG TIME. I HAD AN INCIDENT WHERE I TOOK MY DOGS' PUPPIES TO GET CHECKED AT AN AFFORDABLE CLINIC AND THEY ALL DIE DUE TO OVERDOSED MEDICINE ON THE PUPPIES. I THEN WENT TO THIS OFFICE AND ONE OF THE DOCTORS EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM. I HAD TOOK SOME OF THE MEDICINE THE OTHER DOCTOR AT THE OTHER OFFICE GAVE ME AND SAID IT WAS TOO MUCH FOR THE PUPPIES.TO THIS DAY I LOVE ALL THE SERVICES THEY GIVE. I DO RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE. I LIVE FAR CLOSE TO GREENS ROAD AND I WILL STILL GO TO MY VET. TO THE OTHER PEOPLE THAT COMPLAIN ABOUT BEING A BAD OFFICE, THATS WHY YOU ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU DO THINGS. I HAVE NEVER HAD NO PROBLEM WHEN I ASKED QUESTIONS. THANKS GUYZ!!!!!!!!

I have never received such horrible vet care in my entire life, and not just one time, several times. This vet clinic is a joke. That's too bad considering it came highly reccomended by several people I know. I'm not sure what kind of service and care they expect for their animals but I expect alot, regardless of cost. These idiot vets & techs diagnosed my dog with distemper. They didn't do testing to rule out other possible issues, just looked at her and said she had it. They sent me home THREE times with my dog with an extremely high temp (106) and said to "give her fluids". How do you give a sick dog fluids when it refuses to drink? On the third visit I literally DEMANDED that they give her an IV or provide another solution. Finally they told me about sub-q injections, FINALLY. Then, they rushed me out like we had the plague. I took her to another vet for (quality) help and to someone who would actually care enough to answer my questions and gie me some real help. This vet said she might only have a minor flu and NOT distemper. The new vet (Westbury) did bloodwork for in-depth testing and a chest x-ray. Heights never even offered these options. They hussled me around the clinic thre times and sent me away with meds each time, none of which helped. It was a complete fiasco. Even the people who work the front desk are unknowledgeable and rude. I swear - I will never EVER take any of my animals there again. I still cannot believe they give such poor quality service. And I say that b/c I have seen all THREE of their shotty vets and they are all terrible. It's sad to think how many animals and customers who have not received quality care from this ridiculous place. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!

I lived in the Heights for a while and always took my dog to the Heights Veterinary Clinic. I like their no appointments policy because I could always be seen quickly, and not have to wait half a day or longer & take off work to get my dog seen. The Dr. was always very friendly, as well as the techs. He talked to me, and worked with me to find the right meds for my dogs allergy problems, and didn't require me to bring him back in for a new refills every time. I never had anything seriously wrong with my dog (luckily) so I cannot testify to how they handle that, and I always went first thing in the morning. I've learned that many places are far different late in the afternoon vs. early morning. I wish I could still take my dog here, they were always very good to me and easy on my pocketbook.

Every time I have taken my dog there, I have received very professional service. The staff is friendly and helpful. The vet is great. I would recommend to anyone.

I work in the animal industry, so I know animal healthcare like the back of my hand. I have tried the cheap places(Low Cost Pet Clinic), the expensive places (Pet Vet), and have always gone back here. The staff at the front can be a bit ditzy (write a mixed breed dog in, when you write the whole name of the breed out).. But Dr. Williams and Hendrix have been excellent when we have used them for our dogs. They always give thorough care. Dr. Williams walked in and took ONE look at my dog and knew exactly his ailment. Someone on here repeatedly spreads libel about the clinic, regarding their wonderful dachshund. Dr. Hendrix has cared for my dachshund before and never made a mistake. And I know others who's dogs have been saved by the quick thinking of the vets at this facility. Pets don't die because of the vets, they die because of stupidity by the owners, bad breeding, or natural/contagious disease (again on the part of the owners for not giving preventative care). Don't listen to that fool who keeps saying the stuff she or he says. The only thing is they can be a bit expensive, but not that much more than others. If this place was SO horrible they would have handed me the prescription for the heart worm preventative so I can get it online. But they refused. Why? Because those places are in trouble and they are obeying the LAW, unlike this other libel spreading person. I have been using Heights for years now and have gone other places. As an animal sciences professional they have earned my seal of approval.
