Customized Grooming

I have had Linda groom my cats for about six years and have been very pleased. She was very gentle and quick with a cat who had cancer who is now gone. Linda gives my overweight, grumpy, 15 year old Persian a grooming customized for her special needs because of Inflamatory Bowel Disease, a lot of belly, and her tendency to get her whole head in the water and food bowl. I don't like the lion cut look so Bonnie gets special treatment to hide her figure flaws and still help me more easily keep her clean and beautiful. Linda works with the local vets and is active in preventing unnecessary euthanasia and helping homeless cats.
Good Grooming

I take my two cats to Linda and she gives them good looking lion cuts w/out sedating them. I can choose just what I want and depending on what time of year it is she does just what we need. Short, no manes and pommed tails for a cool summer or her chenille cut for winter. I get this one done in early November, leave the mane & tails long and they look great @ Xmas (I sometimes get them bathed again right before the holidays starts so they look good in the photos). My sister gets her shorthaired cats bathed a couple of times a year to prevent hairballs and it sure helps. We really appreciate this service since very few people understand cats and can do a good job.
Wonderful Boarding Environement

My cat Sassy is well taken care of by Linda & Tom. I have boarded @ other places & Sassy comes home and hides for a day or two. Sometimes at Fat Cat Flats she barely gets up to greet me and then takes the opportunity of my being there to run to the catio in the playroom. When she gets home she acts just fine, no hiding out. It is clean and the cats are definitely well looked after. I have Sassy groomed before coming home and they do a great job. No barking dogs and a quiet environement make her not fearful. I would highly recommend them.

I have been taking my two long haired cats to Flat Cat Flats for grooming for five years. I have an elderly, overweight Persian with IBD and she has special cleaning issues as well as an unpleasant personality. Linda is great at handling her and making her look young and beautiful. Linda spends more time working on getting mats out than anyone I have had groom my cats. Usually the groomer just wants to shave the cat. Linda has a lot of experience with cats and is very knowledgeable; she not only bathes and grooms them, she pays attendtion to their general condition. She takes special care of a cat who has a medical condition. Getting a bath is stressful for a cat and Linda is very gentle with them and organizes the work so she can minimize the stress by getting the cat in and out as quickly as possible. The boarding facilities are clean and spacious and the gift shop has unusual gifts as well as quality cats supplies. This is a place cat lovers love to visit even if it is just to browse.

We've been going to Fat Cat Flats for years. When one of our cats needed frequent grooming because of a health problem; we were thrilled to find someone who specialized in grooming cats and did it with such patience and gentleness. They also have a great boarding facility where the cats get a lot of personal attention and play. The owner, Linda, has always been helpful with ideas and suggestions for cat health or remedies when they're sick. They also have a great shop with all kinds of gifts for both cats and those who love them. Fat Cats also carries supplies like premium foods and litter.
