No problems with buying the bike, however: Every time I take my bike in for 'free' maintenance or tuneup, something goes wrong with the bike. I have replaced 150 dollars worth of parts on my bike in the last 2 years. (On a 375 dollar bike.)

Where do I begin? Well, IKE the manager is a complete M_ _ _N and very RUDE!!! David the owner is probably less competent than Ike. And no one has a clue what they are doing. I?m not even sure they know they sell bikes. I am very new to cycling so I wanted to purchase a bike that is fairly decent for beginners. After reading some reviews, I decided to purchase a Motobecane. I looked around for Motobecane retailers and found Cycle Spectrum. When I called the Shepherd store to inquire about their bikes, I was told basically to F%#K Off. The manager said he didn?t want to speak to me over the phone and that unless I wanted to come in to the store, I wasting his time. Please note: This conversation took about 2 minutes of his time and within 1 minute he became hostile. I blew off this conversation because I figured his day was going bad. A couple of days later I called back to find out how much they charge to ?fit? a bike to a person and again, I got Ike. And good ole Ike was his old self again. He refused to give me pricing information. After asking him a couple of times, Ike told me to go elsewhere if I wanted pricing information. This time I decided to take it up with the owner, David. I called David several times and left messages with his employees. However, David refused to call me back. I guess David and his company doesn?t follow good customer service will always keep you in business. So here?s to all the Ike?s and David?s out there, good luck with your business model. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!

I lost my leg and knee due to cancer and decided to try and buy a bicycle for physical therapy for both myself and my wife, and called Cycle Spectrum on Sterling Center Lane using the number that was found with an online search. Apparently the phone number went straight to the warehouse (even though it was listed as the main number for the store) and when the person answered, I told him that I was looking for a used bike, to which he responded verbatim: "I said This is the warehouse,... I really don't F*CKING CARE WHAT YOU WANT!!!" and hung the phone up on me. When I called another location to find out who I could contact about it, the manager of that location claimed to have absolutely no knowledge of how to contact anyone about what had happened, and he said he has nothing to do with the warehouse and he had no information at all about who is in charge of their warehouse department or who owns the business. Well within about 2 minutes of searching, I found out the owner and co-owner's name and have contacted them with what happened. If this is their attitude toward the people who give them business, I am HIGHLY surprised that they can keep any customers at all....I was treated in such an extremely rude manner that I would never even set foot in their store. Needless to say, they lost a sizable sale today as I was wanting to splurge on some nice bikes for my wife and I. I would definitely NOT recommend this place to ANY of my family or friends....but maybe I might consider sending my ex wife that way.

Service was fine but the guy there (and there's only consistently one guy there) tried to sell me a $250.00 rehaul for a $15.00 problem. Absolutely ridiculous. The guys at Bicycle World on Rice Blvd. fixed the problem in 10 minutes. No hassle.

I just went around town to several bicycle shops, and this place was by far the friendliest place. I didn't know the first thing about bikes, and the salesperson was SUPER helpful in determining my needs, and fitting me in the right bike for the right price. I bought a few upgrades, gadgets, and accessories, and he was very helpful in making suggestions in trying to reduce cost for me. When you buy a bike from them, all service is free for the life of the bike... all you have to do is buy the parts, and they'll install it for FREE! GREAT experience.
