Service Found Wanting, Coffee Average

First, let me set a baseline: I hate Starbucks. I tell my wife (who cannot seem to make it past any Starbucks location at any time of the day or night) that Starbucks is full of "losers with laptops". Bright and Early is on my way to work. I desperately wanted a regular place to stop and get a cup of good (not necessarily great) coffee on my way to work. I stopped at Bright three times. Each time, they handed out something different than what I had ordered. Each time, I tried to gently assist them in correcting my order. Each time, I was rebuffed. After the third time, I said, "Fuggahboutit!" and haven't been back ever again. Oh, and the wrong order they gave me each time was a less expensive alternative than I ordered? Was the wait staff pocketing the diff? Who knows? Who cares? The taste of the coffee was average to poor; nothing special. There are many other better places to get a good cup of coffee in Houston.

Great little drive Thru thats been in business for 7 yrs. How can a coffee shop last that long if there coffee is not great. Try the sandwiches. Great friendly service.

I have never written a review for Citysearch before, but I was awe struck that ?Bright and Early Coffee? had a good rating?w.t.f. I have never had worse coffee in my life!!! No I am not joking. Let me see if I can elaborate for those coffee-lovers out there (note that coffee-drinkers are not coffee-lovers because they do not care what the coffee tastes like)? The well used coffee maker at work; the one that no one see fit to empty the grinds after brewing; the one that the no one seems fit to clean out after using; the one that coffee-drinkers leave the burner on because they think it makes the coffee stay fresh?this coffee is better than ?Bright and Early Coffee? by a long-shot. In fact my grandfather?s coffee who re-uses previously brewed grinds is better. In short, IF YOU ARE A COFFEE LOVER, STAY AWAY!!!

bright and early is the way to start the morring. The greeting you get at the drive thru is like you are talking to one of your friends. I start by getting the coffee of the day i can allready smell it , houston blend . I allso get a breakfust taco which is made the way i want it on a home made torilla with crispy bacon and salsa notthing can go wrong when you start the morinng with a smile and a great cup of jo.

I can only guess that the previous review was made by either the owner, an employee, or someone who has some other stake in this place. In short, this place is a joke. I've tried it several times, hoping that the bad service was just due to a bad day, but it happened again and again. They serve breakfast, but their advertised tacos are not on the menu. When you ask what you can order they ran through the offerings so quickly I couldn't understand what she said and had to ask several times for clarification. Another time, I ordered a couple of tacos, and when I opened them, they were not at all what I ordered. Finally, we were in the drive through, ordered some breakfast. After several minutes, they came on the speaker and told us that they were out of food?! Give me a break, and save us from places like this. In short, this place is a terrible place to start your day. Don't even think about it. Find somewhere else to start your day.
