Description:
The Tony-award winning Alley Theatre presents a wide range of theatrical productions each year, including classics and neglected plays, ranging from William Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing" to the adapted-for-stage "Treasure Island" to John Patrick Shanley's controversial play "Doubt." Its theater spaces include an 824-seat theater and a more intimate 310-seat performance space, and the company regularly hosts backstage tours, theater classes and holiday performances. It is located across the street from the Wortham Center and Bayou Place in downtown Houston's Theater District.
