Description:
The first NFL stadium with a retractable roof, Reliant Stadium, home of the National Football League’s Houston Texans, opened in 2002 and hosted the Super Bowl in 2004. The 71,500-capacity stadium also regularly hosts rodeos, as well as corporate meetings, exhibits, concerts, catered functions and other special events. It is located in Reliant Park next to the Astrodome, a few miles from the Houston Zoo and the other attractions of the Museum District.
