Description:
Home to the Houston Astros of the MLB, Minute Maid Park was opened in 2000 to replace the Astrodome. Seating more than 40,000, the ballpark has a retractable roof, serving to protect visitors from the worst heat and humidity of Texas summers. The field sits on the east side of downtown, a few blocks north of the Toyota Center.
