Description:

Houston's Children's Museum offers 14 galleries of fun-filled interactive and educational exhibits designed for kids up to age 12. Visitors explore such popular installations as EcoStation, an outdoor environmental exhibit with a native plant garden, a puppet stage and regular activities involving insect collecting and other skills. The museum occupies a bright yellow building in the Museum District, just south of downtown, near Hermann Park and the popular Houston Zoo.
